I know most people will favor the 4 door.
But the 2 door reminds me a bit more of the original design from the 1st generation.
Which, I think, is a nice touch.

Super boring but coupe might give it a less utilitarian look probably.
A true believer or employee I am assuming. VW golf/gti is consistently rated below average in reliability, (US News, Edmunds, CR.....). The dated look can and poor reliability adds up to a car that consistently is best seller in Europe? Go figure.

LOVE IT!
The crisp clean and yet evolutionary design just make the busy designs of the focus, Mazda 3, Hyundais etc seem juvenile and trendy.
Wasn't feeling the 3 door as much at 1st, but it's all good now.
Just hope the quality matches that of the previous golf/gti.

MK5 was the best looking of all of the Golfs.
