I am not sure what they will do to the front end. And rear lights.
But from these pictures, it looks like it will get what it really needed from the begining: a much better (and all new) interior.
The current Sonata is a very nice looking family car. But I think the interior doesn't fit at all the clean exterior design.
All you need to know (and see)

To me, that thing looks pretty cheap. What is so wrong with a small chrome line around the window?
As it is on these pics, it looks like a $15 000 car.
Makes the CRV looks like a Rolls Royce.
And talking about the CRV, since when is a VW even more boring to look at than a Honda???
At least the interior is much nicer than the Jetta. A few curved line made it in....
Maybe it's one of these cars that "looks better in person"....

This might be real.. Or not...
I don't know.
Just another picure of the upcoming small BMW coupe.
In Europe at least, they will be coming in November. The 135 i model will use the Turbo 3.0 Liter from the 3 series. With 306hp.
That should be one fast little coupe.
Europeans will also get a 2.0 Liter Diesel with 204hp in the 123 d model.

Nissan will sell a version of the Dacia/Renault Logan in mexico. Under the name Aprio.
The Logan has been on sale in Europe for a couple of years as a super cheap alternative to most other new cars. And it has been quite a success.
I guess cheap and dorky can been "in". If it's cheap enough...
The Nissan version won't make it to the US.
(and that's not a bad thing...)

Both sedan and coupe versions.
And both looking much better than I thought.
the coupe is no big surprise. It was previewed last year with the concept.
but the sedan looks pretty nice, even on these early pictures. And much more upscale than the current model.
And a diesel is coming a year later...
See them all :

Not sure if this is real. But if it isn't, it is pretty close.
The hatch will be very similar to the concept we saw last year.
But so far, this would be for Europe only, not the US.
Unless the new Impreza hatch turns out to be a blockbuster over here... (yeah, right...)

In a few months, production will stop for this "poor thing".
It was never really accepted as a Saab . No wonder.
I can't really imagine any "Saab person" buying something based on a truck frame.
Another mistake from GM. This and the Subaru based 9.2 were never Saabs.
Let's hope the next "real" Saabs will be modern, more reliable. And no more Chevy trucks, please....

Just like the Fusion, it looks like the small Lincoln will get a new front end within a couple of years.
This looks very nice. Seems like they are using the front from last year's concept on all their upcoming cars.
But is it too late? Who actually consider a Lincoln anymore?
It's not a bad car. Far from it. But I don't think most people even think about Lincoln when they're comparing a Lexus ES...
They need something striking. Something people have to have. Despite it being a Lincoln.
Others have done it. Tons of people who bought a PT Cruiser would have never been caught dead in a Chrysler before.

I don't know about you, but I kind of liked the BS6 sedan from Brilliance.
One of the few Chinese cars already sold in some European countries.
Which also means, they are subjects to European crash test.
And here it is. The horrible results....
Basically, I would be cought dead (I guess I would) in this car at 40 mph. Which is the speed of this test.
Here is the BS6.
A good looking car, when it's not moving...

These picture come from a south American site.
And I don't really think they are real.
But.. Let's say they are.
I think the current Fusion looks fine. The one thing it does not need is a new front end design. It looks great as it is.
The rear part of the car on these pictures looks a bit weird.
It just doesn't fit with the straight lines on the rest of the car.
What the Fusion could use, is a really nice interior.
The current one is fine, but not great.
Ford needs to spend more money in to the Taurus interior before they invest on a new front end for the already good looking Fusion....
