RX testing????

I wonder what they can be testing in the US, in a Toyota badged lexus RX...

It doesn't look "weird" like mules do. So I guess this is not the all new one for 2009.
At least not yet...

Considering recent Toyota design, perhaps they should just leave the RX alone. They'll only screw it up.

Weird. I saw two painted matte black with matte black wheels and some light taping camoflauge in Torrance yesterday and was wondering what they were working on. I'd pretty much guarantee that they had the next RX drivetrain/chassis underneath and that's pretty much it. I think the fronts were taped up because they were testing cooling with the new front opening locations and dimensions.

I may be wrong, but the wheels look an inch or so bigger than stock. Perhaps this is a mule for a future sportier version? RX-F maybe? Probably not but just a thought.

actually, the RX is a Lexus badged Toyota Harrier...

Hmm, why is the muffler hanging about eight to ten inches off the bottom of the RX?

Depends on where you check, the Harrier is a badge for Japan, the Lexus RX moniker is used everywhere else--Europe, Asia, N America...
