2007 Nissan Altima

Just thought I would post a few more pictures of the new Altima.
A very nice looking car, even if it could have been better.

This interior shot has a more "real life" , less studio look to it. And it actually does look better.

looks like G35 sedan.

FF or FR?
i think FF.

It’ll be FF, on the existing platform. I still reckon you Yanks are lucky. This is a heck of a nice looking car, considering we have to put up with the Teana (with Maxima badges).

I see it coming...one continuous head/taillamp unit that wraps 360 degrees around the vehicle.

I LOVE it! Nissan hits one out of the park again and no sludge problems ever like toyota's camry has. This instantly makes the "All-New" camry look "All-Old". Also, it will be the best handling FWD sedan on this planet and "NO" torque steer, ya zero!

Gee, Jak, this car isn't even out yet you've driven it enough to make an unbiased statement about its handling.

LOL

I remember when the last Altima was supposed to slay all the other midsize entries. While it's not a bad car, it didn't exactly drive Honda or Toyota into the ground.

i like the 350Z-ish headlights, but the tail lights are fukin UGLY

This used to be a fresh design. Now, on it's umpteenth iteration, Nissan needs a new design direction. It's not bad, but the new Altima won't be more than a blip on the radar.

Take one Nissan Maxima, make a few minor changes and presto! you have the new Altima. Does Nissan have any more designers? The more I see the new Maxima, er, Altima, the more it recedes into the background.

those taillights look like eyelids pulled painfully back

......((shaking)) head, damn, what a rip off, looks like a freakin' maxima, the heck!!! this is wack! this would be a great original car if only there wasn't a maxima around

Take a look at the interior. I don't see much of a maxima. Do you? It looks a little like the maxima, but not much. It kinda has the same structure as the old G35. If u want to take a look enlage the picture on the side of the page. www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Columns/articleId=114985#7

I wasn't talking about the interior (hopefully that's somewhat better than the low-grade materials used in the previous Altima). I was talking about the exterior. Look again, and you'll see that the new Altima is just a little too similar to the current Maxima. Makes one wonder what the next Maxima will look like. Maybe the first-gen Altima.

I hope this car nails toy and hon into the ground

So, Jak,

Define ignorance for us. Is it not "ignorant" to recognize others' opinions? Is styling not, after all, subjective? It certainly sounds like you are the pot calling the kettle black in the "ignorance" department.

the new altima is one good-looking car. exactly in the same way the current altima is one good-looking car.

nissan, where's your bold styling edge? i hope the future of nissan styling isn't defined by the new sentra and versa.

Me too.

Ignorant losers of the world unite, Nissan is the king of style . Put their lineup head to head with the japanese GMs toyota builds and the "blend into a cement wall" honda builds and Nissan looks like what they are. The leaders in automotive style. Mazda is the only other exciting product out there.

You're right. The 350Zs door handles are straight off of a SubZero refrigerator. And those are classy refrigerators! And those Nissan-quality interiors... good stuff. Audi has nothing on these guys. Those Cadillac V-series cars sure do suck. And that Sky from GMs lowly Saturn brand is nowhere close to being as attractive as these "exciting" Nissans! LMFAO!

Hey LMFAO, You show that you are about 18 and probably don't even own a car. Now, go do your homework, change your diaper and come back when you are a man!

Re: Jak

Real cute. You sure showed me whose boss! You should offer lessons on diplomacy.

Did you learn that big word at school? Here's a lesson in diplomacy, Take all your friends, have a meeting, let's say in the phone booth across the way and tell them how smart you are. Now, get on your scooter and you can all go to McDonalds and have some fries to feed your zits....ya....that sounds real good!

Wow, this sure has deteriorated. Nissan fundimentalists are such an intelligent breed. I like Nissans just fine, but let's keep it in persepective.

Anonymous said...

I meant "perspective." That's public school for you.

I truely love ALL NIssans

first gen is the only gen of altimas. screw the 2nd 3rd and 4th.
